Monkee-Boy's Role in the Community

Founded by Aaron Bramwell, Monkee-Boy offers quality service when it comes to web design, web development and marketing. What Monkee-Boy has to offer does not only include web design. By helping with various projects, Monkee-Boy has shown its value within its role in the community of Austin, Texas. Thanks to a new national trend known as cash mobs, the community of Austin now has a chance to give back to local businesses such as Monkee-Boy.
The Tree Initiative
Monkee-Boy understands the importance of preserving the planet. In 2007, Monkee-Boy launched its Tree Initiative program in partnership with American Forests: for each website it launches, it plants 50 new trees. This helps balance the carbon emanation resulting from the use of energy to view this new website.
The Miracle League of Austin
The Miracle League of Austin built a ballpark for children with physical and mental disabilities. The specially-designed field allows children with wheelchairs or walkers to play baseball. Monkee-Boy offered its help by creating a web site for the Miracle League.
Starry’s Child Abuse Prevention Month
Starry conducted a huge campaign to prevent child abuse: Monkee-Boy participated by creating a logo, billboard designs and consulting. Its input helped greatly into making this campaign a successful one, Starry program supervisor, Lindsey Irons, recognizes.
The example of Monkee-Boy shows how a company can offer great services while remaining concerned about its world and community. Charities and other voluntary organizations often encounter difficulties due to a lack of finances: the solution to this problem could reside in corporations using a part of their profits to help in their communities. Like the example of Monkee-Boy shows, this has a positive impact for the community and for the image of the company.
